据日本防卫省统合幕僚监部报道发表资料，当地时间8月30日，日本海上自卫队第3导弹艇队所属“隼”级导弹艇“大鹰”号（JS Otaka，PG-826）、第2导弹艇队所属“隼”级导弹艇“海鹰”号（JS Umitaka，PG-828）在对马海峡附近海域发现海军三舰编队北上，海自第4航空群一架P-1海上巡逻机随即飞赴该海域展开监视和情报收集。经查证，三舰分别为“南昌舰”、“盐城舰”和“东平湖舰”。
